The Lightning Lords - A Mystery

A dwarf , a mage, a half-elf, a druid, a half-orc, a monk, and a retainer walk into the Slippery Mage. IS this the newest piece of revelry heard at the bars and gambling halls in Javelin Hill? No!.

Its the The Lightning Lords - A new crew that stormed on the scene in the Misty Vale after a spectacular debut, but has all but vanished. But who are they? And where have they gone?

After discovering the heinous acts that destroyed the beloved hamlet of Charesse, the self monikered Lightning Lords, also got involved in strange doings at the old Ruin at Salanan's Retreat, and had a spectacular premier at the Forstall Undercroft. These Lords of the Light Electric could really tustle it up.

They also have spread their wealth and good will in Javelin Hill as well. They have taken several orphans and vagabonds off the streets and have trained them as attendants to show them a better life. They have embraced retainers and guards alike. And they have spread their well earned gold to shops across The Hill.

Some of the more devout members of the "LL's", as this reporter has been told they like to be called, have donated significant sums to the Dwarven Temple of Salune, South of Javelin Hill, and to the Elven  Temples and Human Houses of Healing. Its nice to see a new crew understanding the value and importance of investing in their new community. Keep the coin coming!

While we all know many of the new crews follow the Wrecking Crew's model of Hit It First, Before It Speaks! Some also base their membership on bashing and swinging for most members, with maybe a healer thrown in. But not the "LL's". We haven't seen a group as eclectic and diverse as this in maybe a century. They truly dont know how the game is played. But they dont seem to care! They are writing their own rules for how the game can be played. And they are WINNING!

But where have they gone? It has been several months since their last trip to Javelin Hill. High Summer will soon turn to Early Fall and no sign of this eclectic new band of ne'er-do-well's is to be had. This reporter was hoping to interview the LL's, and be the chronicler of their exploits, on their next visit to the Hill.  Are they delving some deep and ancient hole? Are they fighting the nefarious and dastardly forces bent on the destruction of the civilized races of the Vale? Are they plundering some forgotten tomb? Or are they trapped in a hidden labyrinth or worse, lying cold in the ground, the victim of something dark and powerful?

Fear not brave readers and believers, we will track this crew of brave souls and get their story and struggles out for all to read, because we need heroes now more than ever. We need a crew to beat back the deepening twilight and usher us through to the brightness of the unfolding dawn. And this reporter will be there for Javelin Hill!
