Lockhart's Tomb

Standing in defiance of the Necropolis of Hald, the tomb of Edegard Lockhart looks down from a wooded hill across the Old Imperial Road. Once it was known as Edegard's Slender Tower, a slender and singular middle finger pointed directly at Hald and his followers in this life and the next. It was from here he could observe in endless vigilance, whether Hald and his followers would burst forth to scar the Marches again.  Upon Lockhart's death, a tomb was built at its base to house the mortal remains of the once great adventurer, withered by his vigilance to prevent the dying promise of the curse Hald spat, to return in some form and wreak his revenge on the land that spurned him.

Lockhart's Tomb has become a shrine of sorts. Frequented by those who seek solace through vigilance, focus and a narrowing of concentration as protectors and servants of the Marches. And while a formal religion has not been started, a few pragmatic vendors sell various totems and trinkets and worshipful curios to lay at the steps to Lockhart's Tomb and Slender Tower. Lockhart's Tower has been sealed and is not occupied by anyone.
